Invite friends to Kalima and earn free transcription time.
Share Kalima with friends and colleagues and you both win. They start with bonus transcription time, you earn free minutes for every person who signs up, and you get an extra reward when they upgrade to a paid plan. Your friend receives a 60-minute welcome bonus, you earn 60 minutes per signup and an extra 120 minutes when they upgrade, and you can collect signup rewards for up to 10 referrals each month.
Reward amounts can be adjusted over time. The numbers above are the current defaults. The live values are always shown on your Referral tab and on your referral page, so check there for the latest.
How it works
Every Kalima account comes with a personal referral link and a short code. When someone uses them to sign up, Kalima connects their new account to yours and credits the rewards automatically. You copy your link or code and send it to anyone. A new user who joins through it receives a 60-minute welcome bonus, you earn 60 minutes for each successful referral, and you earn an extra 120 minutes when a friend you referred upgrades to a paid plan.
The rewards are paid in transcription minutes that are added to your balance, the same minutes you spend on live recording and file uploads. There is nothing extra to redeem.
Find your referral link and stats
Your link points to a public referral page at /ref followed by your code, so anyone who opens it lands on a welcome page already connected to your invite. Your friend simply creates an account from there.

The welcome bonus is a great reason to invite people you already plan to recommend Kalima to. They begin with a full hour of transcription time to try live recording, summaries, and translation before deciding on a plan.
Monthly limit
You can earn signup rewards for up to 10 referrals per calendar month. Once you reach the cap, your friends can still sign up and still receive their welcome bonus, and you can keep earning conversion bonuses when referred users upgrade. Additional signup rewards resume at the start of the next month.
Your Referral tab shows your monthly progress so you always know how many rewards you have left in the current period.
Things to know
Referral rewards are added directly to your transcription balance as free minutes. You spend them like any other minutes, on live recording and uploaded files, and Kalima draws from your included and earned minutes before any prepaid credits.
No. You cannot refer your own account, and an invalid or unrecognized code is simply ignored at signup. Each new account can be credited to one referrer.
The 120-minute conversion bonus is credited when a person you referred moves from a free account to a paid plan. There is no monthly cap on conversion bonuses.
For your reward to count, your friend needs to create their account through your referral link or enter your code at signup. If they already had a Kalima account, or signed up without the link, the referral won't be attributed. Check your Referral tab, where recent signups appear in your history.
The default reward and monthly-cap values can be adjusted by Kalima. The amounts shown on your Referral tab and your referral page are always the current values, so treat those as the source of truth.
